Résidence
des Grands Jardins
The Grands Jardins residence is located in the Charlevoix region, specifically in Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, close to the Le Massif ski resort. It is situated on a mountainside on a wooded and rocky site, facing the St. Lawrence River.
Positioned on a steep part of the site, the building presents itself differently from each facade. From the street, passersby can see the top floor, while from the river side, three above-ground levels rise elegantly, revealing a facade articulated by a play of angles and large openings.
This contemporary residence stands out for its bold and vertiginous shape. It draws inspiration from certain contemporary Scandinavian villas and makes a distinct mark on the Quebec landscape.
